How to upload videos to YouTube on Computer

Uploading your videos to YouTube before adding them to Kaydoh is the recommended workflow. YouTube handles video hosting, compression, and playback — so your Kaydoh pages load faster and your videos play smoothly on any device.

Step 1 — Go to youtube.com and make sure you are logged into your Gmail account. Most Gmail accounts already have a YouTube channel by default.

Step 2 — Click the camera icon with a + (Create button) in the top right corner and select Upload Video

Step 3 — Click Select Files and choose your video from your computer, or drag and drop your video file into the upload window

Step 4 — While the video uploads, fill in the details:

• Title — Use the property address or a descriptive name (e.g., "123 Main St — Property Tour")


• Description — Optional but recommended for SEO


• Visibility — Set to Unlisted so it doesn't appear in public YouTube search but still works in Kaydoh. Do not set to Private — private videos cannot be embedded and will not display on your Kaydoh page.

Step 5 — Click Next through the remaining screens (Video Elements, Checks) and then click Save

Step 6 — Once uploaded, click on the video and copy the URL from your browser address bar (e.g., https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xxxxxxx)


Last Step — Add to Kaydoh

Paste the YouTube video URL into your Kaydoh page as a video content tile. Click Save & Complete to publish.
