What Are Engagement Notifications?
Engagement Notifications let you know the moment a real person views one of your Kaydoh pages. Whether it's an HVE (Home Value Experience) session or a Landing Page. You get an instant push notification on your phone, and you can tap it to see exactly what that person did on your page.
How Do I Get Notified?
When someone visits your page, Kaydoh detects it in real time and sends a push notification straight to your phone. You'll see who visited, when, where they're from, and what they looked at all without doing anything yourself.

What Types of Notifications Will I Get?
Kaydoh sends different types of alerts depending on how someone is engaging with your page.
First View — Someone viewed your page for the very first time. Great time to reach out while you're top of mind.
New Visitor — A brand new person (on a Landing Page that already has views) just checked it out.
They're Back — The same person visited your page a second time. Repeat visits usually mean they're comparing agents — a strong signal to follow up.
Re-Engaged — Someone who hadn't visited in a while just came back. This is one of the strongest buying signals you can get.
Hot Streak — The same person has visited your page 3 or more times in the past 7 days. They're clearly interested — reach out before another agent does.
Video Played — Someone played a video on your page for the first time. Video interest is a strong sign of engagement.
Busy Day (Landing Pages only) — Your page got 10+ views in a single day — you'll get a daily summary notification.
QR Code Burst (Landing Pages only) — Your QR code got scanned 5+ times in a day — your sign is working.

Will I Get Spammed With Notifications?
No. Kaydoh has smart controls built in to make sure you only get meaningful alerts:
- The same visitor won't trigger repeated notifications back to back
- On Landing Pages, certain notification types are limited to once every 24 hours per page
- Hot Streak only fires when the same person genuinely hits 3 visits in 7 days — it won't keep re-firing unless they drop off and come back
- Re-Engaged only fires if someone was silent for at least 14 days before returning
Getting Notifications on Your Phone
The Activity tab in your Kaydoh mobile app shows all your recent notifications in one place. Each card tells you what happened, on which page, and when. Unread notifications are highlighted so you never miss a hot lead.
Find Your Pages on Mobile
From the Pages tab in your mobile app, you can see all your pages at a glance. Each page shows its view count and lead count directly, and the green activity button lets you tap straight into its engagement details without any searching.
What Does the Activity Detail Screen Show?
When you tap a notification or green activity button on specific page, you'll land on the Activity Detail screen. At the top, you'll see your page thumbnail and title, along with all-time view stats. Scroll down to the Engagement section to see your video stats (views, viewers, average watch percentage, and total watch time), and your Content Tiles showing which documents or links were opened and how long people spent on them.
Activity Timeline: See Exactly What They Did
Tap any visit in the Activity Timeline to expand it and see a step-by-step breakdown of everything that visitor did, which sections they scrolled through, whether they played or paused your video, which content they opened, how far they scrolled, and which buttons they clicked. This tells you exactly how interested they are before you even pick up the phone.
What Happens When I Tap a Notification?
Tapping a notification takes you to the Activity Detail screen for that page, where you can see:
Visit Timeline — A list of every visit to your page, newest first. Tap any visit to expand it and see exactly what that person did — which sections they scrolled through, how deep they scrolled, whether they played a video, and if they clicked any buttons.
Video Stats — How many times your video was played, how long people watched, and a recent history of video views.
Content Tiles — Which documents, links, or other content tiles were opened, how many times, and how long people spent on them. For PDFs, you can even see which pages they read.
Why Is There Sometimes a Small Delay in the Details?
The notification itself arrives instantly the moment a real person views your page.
The detailed breakdown of what they did (which sections, video stats, PDF reading depth) may take up to a minute or two to sync up. If you tap into a visit right after getting notified and don't see the full breakdown yet, just pull down to refresh, it'll update shortly.
How Does Kaydoh Know It's a Real Person and Not a Bot?
Kaydoh only records a visit and sends a notification when a real browser actually loads and runs your page. Simple link previews from iMessage, WhatsApp, Slack, or email scanners don't trigger notifications because they can't execute the page the way a real visitor does. Your notification count stays accurate and meaningful.
Will Previewing My Own Page Send Me a Notification?
No. If you preview your page from your Kaydoh dashboard or the mobile app, no notification is triggered. Only genuine outside visitors count.
Do Notifications Work on Custom Domains?
Yes. If your pages are set up with a custom domain, notifications still work exactly the same way.
Is This Feature Available on My Plan?
Live Engagement Notifications are available on all Kaydoh plans, but the level of detail depends on your plan:
- $39/month — Basic Alerts (you get notified when someone views your page)
- $59/month — Activity Timeline (see when and how visitors engaged)
- $99 and $149/month — Everything (full engagement detail including video stats, content tile tracking, PDF reading depth, and more)

Common Questions
Why did I get a notification but don't see any visit details yet?
The notification fires instantly, but the detailed breakdown of what the visitor did can take up to a minute to appear. Pull down to refresh on the Activity Detail screen.
Why does my QR code scan count look different from the visits on my timeline?
These come from two different systems. The QR count shown at the top of your page is an all-time total from our visit records. The timeline shows individual visits and their traffic sources; these won't always match, and that's expected.
Why does the video "played" signal look different from the video view count?
The "played" signal fires every time someone presses play (including resuming after a pause). The view count from our video system counts unique viewers. They measure slightly different things, so they won't always be the same number; both are correct.
I turned off notifications for a page. Will I still see visit data?
Yes, visit history and analytics are still recorded and visible in your Activity Detail screen, even if push notifications are turned off for that page.
Can I track which QR code brought someone in?
