When editing a Kaydoh page, you can switch between Easy Mode and Advanced Mode at any time depending on what you need to do.

What do you need?

  • Computer
  • An existing Kaydoh page in Edit mode

What's the difference?

  • Easy Mode — A simplified editor designed for quick edits and day-to-day page maintenance. Best for updating content tiles, headings, and basic settings.

  • Advanced Mode — Unlocks additional features not available in Easy Mode, including:

    • Animations
    • Custom Logo (per page)
    • Website Thumbnail
    • Force Registration toggle
    • More Options panel
    • Layout and Theme selection

How to switch from Easy Mode to Advanced Mode

Step 1 — Open your page from the dashboard and click Edit

Step 2 — Look for the Easy / Advanced toggle at the top of the editor

Step 3 — Click Advanced to switch modes — the left panel will expand to show additional settings including More Options

How to switch back from Advanced Mode to Easy Mode

Step 1 — While in Advanced Mode, click the Easy toggle at the top of the editor

Step 2 — Click Save & Complete to save your changes

⚠️ Important: You can switch between modes freely as long as you have not changed the page Layout or Theme in Advanced Mode. If you change the Layout or Theme, switching back to Easy Mode may not be available.

💡 Common reasons to switch to Advanced Mode:

  • You want to add Animations to your page
  • You want to set a Custom Logo for a specific page
  • You want to update the Website Thumbnail (social media preview image)
  • You need to configure More Options settings

Once you're done with Advanced settings, you can switch back to Easy Mode for simpler ongoing edits.
