Click on the visitor count to see a break down of where the traffic came in from. Below are some sources with further explaination
- email: This means a visit was made coming from an email that was sent out using the "Copy for Email" feature.
- email-img: User clicked on email image itself from the "Copy for Email" feature
- email-title: User clicked on email image title from the "Copy for Email" feature
- qr-code: This means a visitor scanned the QR code of the website
- smart-qr-code: This means a visitor scanned the KayTag QR code
- (direct): This could either mean the visitor clicked on the site from a text message or directly typed the URL on their browser or viewed the site in private-mode (incognito)
- dashboard: This means visits came in directly from your dashboard which basically mean they are your test views or Kaydoh's audit team reviewing your site.
- ... : If Kaydoh can identify the source, you will see it broken down per source (FB, YouTube, Google..etc)
Views vs. Leads — What's the difference?
- Views count every visitor who opened your page — regardless of whether they submitted any information. Views do not capture contact details.
- Leads are only generated when a visitor actively submits their information — through a locked content tile, a Registration QR Code scan, or a form on your page.
If you have views but no leads, it means visitors are browsing your page freely without being required to submit anything. To capture leads from your traffic, consider locking a content tile or using a Registration QR Code at your next open house.
