What is a Market Update Video?
What you need
- An Altos Research account (ask your brokerage or sign up at altosresearch.com)
- Access to ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini
- A HeyGen account (app.heygen.com)
① Step 1 — Screenshot your Altos Research report
Log into your Altos Research account, pull your market snapshot for your zip code, and take a screenshot. You will use this in the next step.
② Step 2 — Open Video Agent in HeyGen
- Log into app.heygen.com
- Click Video Agent from the left menu
- Click the Real Estate tab
- Click Market Updates to open the template
③ Step 3 — Get your script from ChatGPT
- Open ChatGPT (or Claude or Gemini)
- Upload your Altos Research screenshot
- Paste this prompt:
"I'm a real estate agent. Based only on the exact numbers in this image, write me a 60-120 second natural conversational market update video script. Use only the figures shown, do not invent any numbers. End with a call to action to 'DM' for the full report or if anyone is thinking of selling they can easily put in their address in the input box to get an instant home value estimate. "
If you want your market update video to have a seller call to action, then place the video inside your Home Value Page, use this script instead:
"I'm a real estate agent. Based only on the exact numbers in this image, write me a 60-120 second natural conversational market update video script. 4. Copy the generated script
④ Step 4 — Paste your script into HeyGen
- Go back to HeyGen
- Paste your script into the Details field
- Click Continue
⑤ Step 5 — Choose your avatar
- Click the avatar swap icon on the left
- Go to Public Avatars
- Select your preferred avatar
- Click Continue
⑥ Step 6 — Generate your video
- Once done your video will appear — download it and share.
