How to Create Branded URLs for Kaydoh Pages Using Your Domain

Last Update 8 days ago

Many users want their Kaydoh marketing pages to appear as part of their personal or business brand — for example:

⚠️ Important: Kaydoh does not natively support creating subdirectory-style URLs (e.g., yourdomain.com/highlandsranch) or custom subpage URLs directly inside the platform. However, you can achieve a similar result by setting up URL forwarding through your domain provider such as GoDaddy, Namecheap, or Google Domains. This allows visitors to type a clean branded link that redirects to your Kaydoh page.

Note: Not all domain providers support path/subpage forwarding. If yours does not, use a subdomain instead (e.g., listings.yourdomain.com). Subdomains are more universally supported and work reliably with Kaydoh.

Before You Start
Before setting this up, make sure you have:
• Your Kaydoh page link ready
Example: https://yourkaydohpage.com/xxxxx
• Access to the account where your domain is registered (GoDaddy, Namecheap, etc.)

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Log in to Your Domain Provider

Go to the website where your domain is registered and log in to your account.

Examples include GoDaddy, Namecheap, or Google Domains.

Step 2: Open Your Domain Settings

Locate the domain you want to use (example: yourdomain.com) and open the section called:

  • DNS Management
  • Domain Settings
  • Forwarding
The exact name may vary depending on your provider.

Step 3: Choose Your URL Style

Note: Not all domain providers support path forwarding. If yours does not, simply use a subdomain.
Step 4: Set the Redirect Destination

In the Forwarding or Redirect section:

Forward to: Paste your full Kaydoh page link.
Example: https://yourkaydohpage.com/xxxxx
Redirect Type: Choose Permanent (301) or the provider’s standard redirect option.

This redirects visitors from your branded URL to your Kaydoh page.

Step 5: Save and Test

Save your settings. DNS updates are not always immediate and may take a few minutes up to 24 hours to fully activate.

If the redirect does not work right away:

• Try opening the link in an Incognito / Private browser window

• Clear your browser cache
• Wait for DNS updates to finish

Important Notes

Use Standard Forwarding

Some domain providers offer a feature called

URL Masking or Framing.

We recommend using standard forwarding instead of masking.

Masking can sometimes cause issues with:
• lead capture forms
• analytics tracking
• mobile display
Standard forwarding provides the most reliable experience.

Always Use HTTPS
Make sure the Kaydoh destination link starts with: https://
This ensures the page loads securely.

Example Marketing LinksMany agents create simple branded marketing URLs like:

yourdomain.com/homevalue
yourdomain.com/openhouse
yourdomain.com/listing
openhouse.yourdomain.com

Each of these can redirect to a different Kaydoh page.

Future Updates

Creating custom page URLs directly inside Kaydoh is a feature currently being explored for future platform updates.
