Once you have your Kaydoh Open House Sign In page ready to go.  It's important you have a script prepared to effectively get people to scan your QR code.  Below is a great example how to do this at your next open house

⚠️ Before your open house — make sure you have the right QR code

Your Kaydoh page comes with a basic QR code by default, but this does not capture visitor information automatically. To force visitors to sign in, you need a KayTag set to Registration mode.

If you haven't set this up yet, do it now before printing anything:

Once your KayTag is set to Registration mode, every scan will require visitors to fill out their contact details before accessing your page — capturing every lead automatically.


Script

Greeting:

  • Smile and make eye contact: A warm welcome sets the tone.
  • Introduce yourself: "Hi there, I'm [Your Name]. Welcome!"


Explanation (highlight benefits):

  • Explain the purpose: "We use a quick sign-in system for everyone visiting the house. It helps us keep track of who's here and ensures everyone's safety."
  • Focus on benefits: "It only takes a moment, and it helps us maintain a secure environment."

Confirmation and follow-up:

  • Confirm sign-in: "Great, thanks for signing in!"
  • Provide additional information (optional): Briefly mention any house rules or important information visitors should be aware of (e.g., Wi-Fi password, bathroom location).


After your open house — keep the momentum going


Share your Open House page on Facebook, Instagram, or LinkedIn using the Share button on your dashboard. This drives additional traffic to your page even after the event ends.

Note: Sharing on social media does not force registration — only the Registration QR Code does. Social sharing is for awareness and traffic, while the QR code is for lead capture in person.
