How to Enable Autoplay Video on a Video Listing Page

Shuvo

Last Update 4 hari yang lalu

The Video Listing page using the Real Estate → Atlas layout is designed to showcase a property or listing with a prominent video at the top of the page.

When configured properly, the video can automatically play when the page loads, creating a more engaging experience for visitors.

Autoplay is only supported when the page is using the Real Estate → Atlas layout and the video is uploaded directly to Kaydoh.

Important: Autoplay Requires the Atlas Layout
Autoplay video is only available when the page uses the Real Estate → Atlas layout.

If your current page is using a different layout, you will need to switch the page to Atlas in order for autoplay to work.

Because changing layouts can affect the structure of the page, we recommend duplicating the page first before making changes.

This allows you to test the Atlas layout and preview how it looks before applying it to your original page.

What do you need?

  • Computer
  • A video file ready to upload directly to Kaydoh (MP4 recommended)
  • A page using or switching to the Real Estate → Atlas layout

Read (Step by Step)
Step 1
Log in to your Kaydoh dashboard and locate the Video Listing page you want to update.

Click Edit.
Step 2
If your page is not already using the Atlas layout, switch the page layout to:

Real Estate → Atlas

This layout enables autoplay functionality for uploaded videos.

If you want to test the layout first, duplicate your page and apply the Atlas layout to the duplicate version before updating your original page.

Step 3

Go to the section where the primary video for the page is added.

Upload your video directly to Kaydoh by clicking Upload Video.

You may also use Record Video if you want to record a video directly from your browser.

Uploading the video directly allows the page to control autoplay and playback behavior.

Avoid using external video links such as YouTube or Vimeo if you want the video to autoplay.External videos will still display on the page, but they will not autoplay and will not automatically play with sound. Visitors will need to click the play button manually.

Step 4
Click Save & Complete, then Preview the page to review the final result.

When the page loads, your uploaded video will automatically play, creating a more engaging Video Listing page experience for visitors.

Important Note

Autoplay is only supported for videos uploaded directly to Kaydoh and when the page is using the Real Estate → Atlas layout.

External video platforms restrict autoplay functionality. Because of this, YouTube or Vimeo videos will not autoplay and will not automatically play with sound on the Video Listing page.

🔇 No Audio on Your Uploaded Video?

If your uploaded video plays but has no audio, try the following:

  • Check browser tab mute — right-click your browser tab and look for an "Unmute tab" option

  • Check device volume — make sure your system volume is turned up

  • Try on mobile — if audio works on your phone but not desktop, it is likely a browser mute issue

If you recorded the video directly inside Kaydoh and there is no audio, this is a known issue. As a workaround, record your video on your phone or using a tool like Loom and upload the file instead.

If the issue persists after trying the above, contact our support team.
