Understanding Views vs. Leads in Kaydoh Analytics

Kaydoh provides two key analytics on your pages: Views and Leads. These help you measure both traffic and engagement.

Views
  • A View is counted each time someone clicks your Kaydoh page link and loads the page.

  • Views appear automatically in your Dashboard next to each page title.

  • Multiple visits by the same person may count as multiple views.

  • Views show you how much traffic your page is getting, but not who those visitors are.

Leads
  • A Lead is created when a visitor fills out either:

    1. An eForm (for example, to “Unlock a tile” or gated content), or

    2. The Contact Form that is automatically included at the bottom of every Kaydoh page.

  • Lead details (name, email, phone number, etc.) appear in your Leads tab.

  • Leads show you not just who visited, but who took action and shared their information.

⚠️ Important: Every Kaydoh page has a built-in Contact Form. That means every page can generate leads, even if you don’t add a separate eForm.

How They Work Together
  • Views = page traffic → how many people are visiting.

  • Leads = captured contacts → how many visitors submitted info via eForm or Contact Form.

Example:

  • You send a Kaydoh page to 100 people.

  • 50 people click the link → 50 Views.

  • 10 of them fill out either the Contact Form or an eForm → 10 Leads.

FAQs

Do I need to add an eForm to generate leads?
No. Every Kaydoh page already has a Contact Form built-in. Adding an eForm is optional for gated content or special offers.

Where do I see Views vs. Leads?

  • Views → Dashboard (next to page title).

  • Leads → Leads tab (with contact details).

Can Views turn into Leads later?
Yes. A visitor might view today (counting as a View) and return tomorrow to fill out the Contact Form or an eForm — that’s when they become a Lead.

Why do I have Views but no Leads?

This is one of the most common questions agents ask. Here's why it happens and what to do about it:

Views don't automatically capture information. A view is counted every time someone opens your page — but unless they take an action (fill out the Contact Form or unlock a gated tile), no lead is generated.

Most common reasons for views but no leads:

  • Traffic from social media — visitors who click from Facebook or Instagram browse your page freely without being prompted to fill out anything

  • Using a basic or Public QR Code — visitors who scan go directly to your page with no form required

  • No gated content — if all your content is freely accessible, visitors have no incentive to share their information

How to start generating leads from your existing traffic:

  1. Lock a content tile — put your most valuable content (Off-Market Opportunities, Seller Disclosure, Market Report) behind an e-Form so visitors must submit their details to access it. See: How to lock a content tile

  2. Use a Registration QR Code at open houses — instead of a basic QR code, use one that forces visitors to register before accessing your page. See: How to Create a Registration Form QR Code

  3. Check your traffic sources — click on your view count in the dashboard to see where traffic is coming from (QR scans, social media, direct links). This helps you understand which channels are driving traffic so you can optimize accordingly.
