How to Keep Pages When Deleting a User

If you plan to delete a user from Kaydoh but want to keep their pages, you do not need to copy or template the pages. Instead, you can reassign page ownership before deleting the user.
What do you need?
- Computer
- Admin access to your Kaydoh account
- The user you want to delete must still be active in your account at the time of reassignment

- The pages are not deleted when the user is removed
Steps to Reassign Page Ownership
Step 1: Open the Page
Go to your Kaydoh Dashboard, find the page you want to keep, and click Edit.

Step 2: Open Ownership Settings (Advanced Mode)
If needed, click Turn On Advanced Mode.
The first tab you’ll see when editing the page is Ownership.

Step 3: Change the Page Owner
In the Ownership tab:

- Assign yourself (or another active user) as the Default Owner
- Confirm the correct owner is selected

Step 4: Save the Page
Click Save & Complete to apply the ownership change.

Once saved, the page is officially owned by you and will remain in your account.

After all necessary pages have been reassigned and saved, you can safely delete the user without affecting those pages.
Important Notes
- If a user is deleted without reassigning ownership, their pages may be removed.
- You must repeat these steps for each page you want to keep.
- Copying or templating is not required when ownership is reassigned correctly.
